it must do. A few weeks ago there were 13 in the group. They are quite active but even more noticeable- very noisy(the park comments on this too) -they make a strange and almost continual grunting noise like a baboon being sick....

I photographed them today. I saw 2 sets of twin piglets (peccarylets? :)). The enclosures were very muddy - but it was very wet in Oxfordshire yesterday. The photos will reach the gallery eventually.
I didn't have time to go round all the park, but I noticed that they are refurbishing the rhino house & paddock - although their old male is still looking healthy.

New arrivals at the park include Utilan iguana, black mamba, pied avocet, black winged stilt, redshank and Von Der Decken's hornbill.
 
Sadly, the pair of Squirrel’s Monkeys have been stolen from Cotswold Wildlife Park yesterday. Thieves forced their way into an enclosure overnight between Monday and today and took two female squirrel monkeys.

Police believe the monkeys were taken on the orders of a private collector. The stolen monkeys are Stripe, who was acquired by the park in 1993 and is about 15 years old, and 12-year-old Deana, who was born at the park in 1996.

Concerns about keeping primates as pets were raised during the formation of the Animal Welfare Act 2006. The proposals would also raise awareness of how the market for exotic pets could undermine global conservation efforts.

A squirrel monkey was also stolen from Chessington a year or so back- they got it back I believe.

yes they did, his name was spongebob and he was found in a "poor" estate in london.

Sadly he wasnt accepted by his old group and he now lives in battersea childrens zoo with two/three females.
 
I heard on the Radio the Cotswold ones have been returned, left in a box near the Park. Hopefully they are okay.
