Twycross Zoo Cotton Topped Tamarins

I have a membership to Twycross Zoo and go at least every fortnight as I live sop close to it. I noticed that an enclosure has been empty now for around a month or so but couldnt get my head around what it was. Its the cotton Topped Tamarins!!! They were one of my favorite small monkeys to look at and they have just gone and there enclosure is empty! Any ideas where they have gone????
 
Species can and do leave the collection sometimes with little or no warning,to be honest i don`t know whats happened but i noticed they had gone about 2 months ago,for all we know they could be off show for some reason.
 
Cotton top tamarins

I have just read in the latest TZA news magazine, that seven cotton-top tamarins were transferred to South Lakes zoo - I guess, a couple of months ago by other news reported.
I was at Twycross last Saturday and was surprised to see only one Golden Lion Tamarin - there used to be quite a big group.
 
Everyone (well, Edinburgh and Twycross) seem to be transferring their cotton-tops to South Lakes, so they must have quite a colony by now.
