The building that was formerly the Bat Zone is getting redesigned into a public lab for programs. I went in there for the bug feeding - you can't get in unless you paid for an event. The large amount of fossils - including real mammoth hair! - seem finalized. This is the room we went into as the other room, the more permanent bug room, is still getting built. They also still seem to be working on their collection - the jumping spider and many cockroaches are clearly immature. Keep in mind that this is only what they were willing to show us.
