Cuban crocodile are currently only kept in Asian zoos at the Madras Crocodile Bank Trust in India and the Saigon Zoological and Botanical Garden in Vietnam. It is not currently kept at the Dehiwara Zoo in Sri Lanka and the Almaty Zoo in Kazakhstan. In Japan, in the past, at the Nogeyama Zoological Gardens and the Atagawa Tropical & Alligator Garden It was kept, but it is not kept now.

It seems like the animal in Saigon Zoological and Botanical Garden in Vietnam has recently passed away and finished the exhibit.

I'll be going there next week, so I'll check it out!

Hi!

I visited the Saigon Zoological and Botanical Garden last week.
To be honest, I'm not sure about this species. At least it was not signed.
But if could be mixed up with other croc species, and if that's the case, it'll be very difficult to find the animal.

Cuban crocodile were kept in Japan at Nogeyama Zoo and Atagawa Tropical & Alligator Garden until around the 2010s, but the Individual at Nogeyama Zoo died in 2011.(It is unknown what became of the individual at Atagawa Tropical & Alligator Garden.)

The animal wasn't present when I was there in 2017, although the enclosure was signed.

Regarding the Cuban crocodile kept at Almaty Zoo in Kazakhstan (which is treated as a European country on ZooChat, though geographically it is a Central Asian nation), I later looked it up online and found out it is still alive. (When I posted this thread, I didn't know much about it at the time.)
