Has anyone been to curraghs wildlife park (isle of man) any photos or comments?

That's cool. I imagine the male is Whipsnade's (already very big) latest calf called Chocolate. I wish more collections had moose.

He's the only one they have bred from their pair so far- I'd say it will definately be him. Good to see another pair of these impressive animals being setup.
 
I visited the Curraghs on family holidays in the IoM in the late 60's, just after it was set up. It is set in a very interesting wetland environment and I remember how well some species looked in the habitat, including a Pere David's stag and a free-flying pelican. But at that time it mostly had bread-and-butter species such as Bennett's wallaby and brown capuchin.
The elk should do well there.
