I visited Beaver Water World today and I really didn’t know what to expect since there is only one short thread from 3 years ago and only 5 pictures in the gallery for this zoo so I have decided to post this full species list. Species List:
The signage was absolutely terrible – there were several mistakes and inconsistencies and lots of species were not signed in mixed aviaries where only one or two species were signed. I think this is due to many rescued birds coming in. This is all signed species and all other species that I saw (the place isn’t huge so I had ample time to look for any un-signed birds and since there wasn’t really much hiding space for them, I’m fairly confident that this is everything).
Reptiles:
1) Red iguana (I think a colour variety of Green Iguana, no scientific name given)
2) Spiny-tailed Monitor (also signed as Akie Monitor on a different sign on the same tank, this is what I mean about inconsistency)
