PBS over here in the U.S. just ran a three part series on Attenborough's life. It was a real pleasure to watch it, especially the clips of him from the 1950s. I wish that he would come to the U.S. and do a speaking tour.

Considering that Americans apparently can't handle watching UK or Australian originals of The Office, Rake, House of Cards, Life On Mars, Whose Line Is It Anyway, etc, they would probably demand that a US actor fill in and deliver his lines with a familiar accent. :p

Fingers crossed he makes it over the pond to New Zealand while he's down this way - if anyone hears anything on that subject, please post it!

Don't forget Dad's Army, Red Dwarf, The Professionals and Kath & Kim.

The pre-sale tickets are available from next Monday (18th March), and are quite expensive (at least for the Melbourne show). Best seats are $235, with the worst seats just $95. I really want the best seats, but $470 is a very large amount of money.

Same prices for the Sydney shows.

You survived the heat but sound like you aren't coping well with the cost of living. :D Join the club!! You may qualify for concession tickets though.

The Melbourne and Brisbane shows have sold out, with a new show added for each. I bought tickets to the additional Melbourne show today (not the premium seats though).

True, although I still won't be able to afford that much!

Yes, I wonder who can? My wife is trying to convince me to fly us to Sydney for this event as her birthday gift. However, by my maths, this would be equivalent to birthday gifts for the next 10 years.

Being female, she also likes Brian Cox, so I will probably take her to this in Melbourne for $345pp instead. Brian Cox Meet - Greet

Tickets are sold in groups of 2, 4, 6, 8, & 10.

So you can't buy just one, it will cost you a minimum of $1150 for lunch with Sir David.
