Well, I hope his surgery goes well and he recovers soon. And can reshedule his Australian tour asap.

Must say I am pretty disappointed though.

I was just about to start a thread about this but thought I'd check to make sure I wasn't recycling old news. I hope that he recovers and I hope those of you with tickets are reimbursed or it's rescheduled when he recovers.

I didn't request a refund, and my ticket is valid for the rescheduled show. Refunds and rebookings are happening in some cities, presumably depending on whether they could use the same venue or not.

PBS over here in the U.S. just ran a three part series on Attenborough's life. It was a real pleasure to watch it, especially the clips of him from the 1950s. I wish that he would come to the U.S. and do a speaking tour.

Not much of a tour, though I'm sure there are other events being scheduled:

Attenborough was just down the road from my house while he was here, he made a private trip to canowindra to visit the age of fishes museum. I know he goes to lots of places but very exciting for such a small town in regional NSW
