Death of an Emperor- Exmoor Red Deer Stag

And is it the deers fault that there is a lack of forests in the country now?

No it is caused by the change in the culture of the people.

Culturally humans are hunters, it is only in the last few hundred years we have moved into cities and become disjointed from the environment and stopped depending on wild animals for food.

I appreciate the beauty of an animal weather alive or dead. A properly taxidermed animal should look like it did when alive. All animals die and the choice of how it dies and whether it is preserved or destroyed is not yours to make. There are people who prefer animals to die slowly and naturally, and many of these people prefer not to eat meat. Just because they like something does not mean they can stop others doing what they like. I like to eat meat and prefer to eat something I have killed and prepared myself, what I do with an animals I have legally killed is none of your business.

Since you have attacked me and seem to want an argument are you a vegetarian who wants to force you lifestyle choices on others, (I respect anyones right to not eat meat if they like, as long as they respect my right to eat meat) or are you a hypocritical meat eater who is prepared to eat meat as long as it comes covered in plastic from the supermarket and you did not see it alive.

I didn't attack you, I attacked the subject of taxidermy and the like. I am not a vegetarian and I do not force my views on people. But I was stating my view as othere's had also done. No, I buy very little meat from a super market most of it is from a butchers that is run by the very farmer that raises the animals :) If I buy it from the supermarket it's simply for the fact that I'm having a bad mentality day.

I do not like Taxidermy, it sends shivers down my spine. I don't feel comfortable wih the idea (and to add to that, I have no leather in my house, it's all synthetics :) ). I've been to houses where people have stuffed dear, bears etc in their house or on their walls and they've always said things that make the animal sound worhtless or that they were top hunter. They shot it to shoot something, not to admire the beauty (and anyway, what's wrong with photo's? Still shooting but the animal stays alive LOL). My other arguement against it is that pigs etc are bred to be eaten. Wild animals aren't. I understand culling needs to be done at some point, doesn't mean I like it.

Is that even relevant?

If we just let them eat everything because it is not their fault, we will very quickly have no forest left at all. Is that what you want?

Yes it's relevent, but I'm not going to argue with you. You have your point of view, I have mine, end off.

I love it when people blame animals for our mistakes
We destroy forrest's like they are ours to destroy at will and don't bother to replace them it's only over the last few years that people have realised what damage WE have caused by destroying such large areas of beautiful landscape and what for to put roads through so we can get to places quicker.
For housing estates because we are populating the earth quicker then ever. for fuel because we are running out of other fuels
Lets stop blaming everything we can for OUR mistakes
Let nature take it's course and then we maybe able to live abit longer

It's always someones/somethings fault but our own
