Denver Zoo Denver Zoo News 2013

In the 1980-ties Denver Zoo had a great reputation in breeding Barbets. Several species were very succesfull but I don't know what happened after that. Does any Zoochatter has knowledge about the historical records ( which species have been bred and howmany ) and does the zoo still have one or more species in the collection and are these breeding. Realy hope someone can provide me with some information !!!

I'm not sure if I can provide you with the records you are looking for but I can saw that right now the zoo only has Bearded barbets.
 
About my question about Denver's Barbet-breeding, I checked myself the International Zoo Yearbooks 1980 -1989 and found the following results :
1980 none
1981 none
1982 Black-collared and Red and Yellow
1983 none
1984 none
1985 Levailland's, Red and Yellow and D'arnaud's
1986 same as in 1985
1987 D'arnaud's and Levailland's
1988 Red and Yellow and D'arnaud's
1989 Toucan and D'arnaud's
As you see, quite an impresive list and if somebody can provide more information ( publications about these results ? ) I would be very happy !
Also results before and after the 1980-ties would be of intrest.
