Denver Zoo Denver Zoo News 2013

This past week has been a miserable time for Colorado as a whole. I'm very happy to say though that none of the flooding at Denver Zoo affected any of the exhibits or animals.
 
Electric fences designed to keep in cattle bison and goats hurt like hell, I can't imagine hotwire for elephants.
 
If your dumb enough to go into an elephant enclosure and then touch the hot wires you definitely got what you deserved. Im just glad one of the elephants didnt go after her and have to be shot to try and save the *****. Shes definitely a candidate for a Darwin award.

I want the people who wish to close zoos to pay attention: zoos do an excellent job of identifying the dumbest amongst us. Can that be used for public good?
