My zoo
This zoo will be suited in Western Europe, preferably in France or Germany.
This is how my zoo will be set up. The zoo will mostly be divided taxonomically. The entrance you walk in to get in to the zoo, will be formed like a gate, very similar to the entrance in Berlin Zoo. The first things you will see inside the zoo, will be a couple of fountains, sculptures and flowerbeds. You will also see the large restaurant, gift shop, and the aquarium that will be the first animal exhibit complex in the zoo.
The aquarium:
Saltwater fish, corrals and sponges floor:
The aquarium will have five floors. The first floor will house the saltwater fishes, corrals and sponges. The saltwater section will have three themes. The first theme will hold the fishes that is living outside Scandinavia. The second theme will have all the corral reef fishes, corrals and sponges. And the last theme will be the giant oceanic tank, that will be the largest tank in Europe with whale sharks, many other sharks, turtles, rays, and several other fish species.

Then you walk down the stairs or take the elevator back down to the first floor, where you can walk outside and see the rest of the zoo. Outside the aquarium there will also be a building with the administration offices for the people that work there, the veterinerian opperating room, and the animal food kitchen.
The small mammal house:
The first building after the aquarium will be the small mammal house. The house will be divided into five taxonomical themes: rodents, rabbits, hares and pikas, insectivores, xenarthras and other small mammals. The house will have a very large small mammal collection, one of the largest in Europe. Most of the animals will be housed in glas terrariums inside. Some of the larger small mammals will also have an outdor exhibit outside the house. The giant anteaters, capybaras, coypus and maras will be housed in the South American pampas enclosue. The beavers and aardvarks will be housed in the night house, so these small mammals would not be here either.
