I've been checking the website almost every day to see if there are any updates. The website stills says it's reopening spring of this year. I'll be sure to post an update here if the penguin center or any other exhibits reopen soon.

An update has been posted on Facebook today. This Friday, the number of people that can be allowed into the zoo per day will increase to 6,500 guests (no idea what it was before). There are also a few exhibit re-openings. The Wildlife Interpretive Gallery and Butterfly Garden, Cotton Family Wolf Wilderness (log cabin), and the Hangout will all be re-opened Friday.
They also mentioned there should be news about the PPCC soon. Also looking at the comments on the post and they said the underwater tunnel in the Arctic Ring of Life will open once the sea otters are moved in.

Did they mention when the sea otters will be on exhibit? I know it's just two, but I assume the zoo is leaving room for rescues since they're endangered.
Nah just said that they're coming soon.
Also, the red panda canopy walkway and the giraffe elevated walkway are open (no giraffe feeding yet though).

The zoo did an educational virtual tour of the PPCC this morning, and it looked like all the penguin species were back in the PPCC as of today. Maybe that means they’ll open soon.

They did an actual hour long educational special for the public where the penguin keepers answered questions from the public and talked about penguins. I believe it was live this morning, and it was recorded in the PPCC, with the penguins on exhibit in the PPCC.
Do any of you know where the PPCC stream can be viewed? It's not on Facebook or their website. Also if anyone has seen it, were there any species changes? I know I saw someone report chinstraps on the penguin cam a while back.
The zoo just got a one-year-old female southern cassowary named Neo. She can be found in the habitat next to the giant anteaters.
Do you guys think the cassowary is there until it’s full grown or will remain at the zoo?
I'm hoping it'll remain. Anyway, some great news to hear 
I think she'll stay for a while, the exhibit she has is pretty large.
Also, I found out she came from the Nashville Zoo. Back in April, they posted on Instagram that she will be moving off to another zoo as a breeding recommendation. Now, she is still young so she obviously can't breed yet but it will be exciting if a male arrives soon.

The Arctic Ring of Life tunnel and the other building in the area (forgot what it's called) have reopened today!
Any update so far on the PPCC reopening date?
Went today. Had to survive a thunderstorm but I saw the cassowary, sea otters, and macaw. Vultures and red crowned cranes share habitat with the rheas and white storks. Griffin vulture appears to be gone. No signs of pronghorns in the camel yard, just the camels and white lipped deer. The former "pampas" is now gunaco free, now just having two or three sandhill cranes, a white fallow deer, and according to signage a tortoise. A guy on a golf cart who overheard me making a snarky comment spilled the beans on what was going on as he zoomed past: "that's where they are going to build the big children's zoo!" So that seems to be happening. No further details and some of the things he said were unintelligible, as he was driving very, very fast and yelling it as he went by. If there is going to be a children's zoo area built in the "pampas", that would explain the species cuts over there. Oh and The Hangout is open again.
So the pronghorn are gone? Maybe they’re being moved into the bison yard right now? And any idea what’s meant by children’s zoo? Last I knew that area was basically going to be converted into a giant playground that will connect to the barnyard area. I think the prairie dogs might have been included in the plans for the children’s area.
I'm going to assume the pronghorn are moved or will be moving to the bison yard.
