The park is in an amazing setting. I don't see what the problem is, sure some fences look a bit tatty, but if you're needing lots of shiny glass windows and tidy woodstained decking then it's probably never going to be that kind of place. Incidentally, the tapirs used to have what was probably the largest enclosure in the UK for any tapir species, with a huge pond and field. Ok, so they had to share with rheas, llamas, emus and a seal, but I would have been more critical of the old house. Is the current enclosure now split off from the pond and the rheas? The main mistake was introducing 'Mrs Capybara' if that is what caused the fatal injury to the male tapir.
