New species for Zie-ZOO : it was planned to send 2 females Bruijn's pademelons from Planckendaell ( Belgium ) to Zie-ZOO but by checking the animals it was found that a third one was traveled with them in the pouch of one of the females !

15 Green anacondas born at Volkel .

And again another new "small"carnivore-species for Zie-Zoo. 2 Wolverines are expected to arrive tomorrow from Kolmarden Zoo in Sweden .

A new species for Zie-ZOO : Red-crowned crane.

Another new species: white-nosed coati (Nasua narica)!
The zoo already kept ring-tailed coati (including albino coati).

They are housed next to the ring-tailed coati, in a smallish
enclosure that formerly held hyrax, kusimanse and later on
pigeons and a pheasant.
