I hope not, the Blackpool dinosaur park is dire. May be it will be something like the walking with dinosaurs show that toured last year. I wonder if there will be separate charge to see it.I just wondered if anybody knew anything more about this. Is it going to be similar to the one at Blackpool?
I think it will be something similar![]()
Apparently large animatronic/computerised dinosaurs will be located in the area around the Fountain Lawns. Although the exact details of how they work haven't yet been forthcoming. There'll also be tie-in merchandise in the Fountain Shop.
Ironically, on the way in the other day I overheard a little boy ask his mum if there would be dinosaurs, and she said no, it was a zoo not a museum. Dinosaurs can have a valid natural history message, although as a conservation organisation Chester is a little late to the game.
Looking forward to Chesterington's Tree-tops Zip Wire though... I can think of a few people I'd like to see come down it too.![]()

Well its about time that Tim made use of the T-Rex enclosure that zoo built a few years ago now!!!
And we all thought he was joking!
Would be a fantastic PR stunt for them to place one of the dino's in the enclosure, perhaps behind trees and watch the zoochat/facebook/twitter/news reports role in.
