Based on pictures that's what I thought but I didn't know of any other panda births off the top of my head. So the National Zoo's panda cub does have to do with it?

I think LA's has gotten more attention. If you google 'controversial elephant exhibit' you get a bunch of results about LA's exhibit rather than Noah's.
