Frankfurts female gave birth to the first Gorilla in Germany in 1965, called Max.
In 1967 the same female gave again birth, this time to the first captive born twin-gorillas.
These 2 females were Alice and Ellen.

sorry about the delay, i have been without a computer for quite some time.

this zoo was nearly completely destroyed in 1987, leading to the escape of a snow leopard for nearly 2 weeks, however 2 years later snow leopards at this zoo had cubs, the first ever of the species born in that country.
