Copy-Pasted below is a description of this documentary;

"Patrick McMillan explores the Apalachicola National Forest in the panhandle of Florida, which is one of the United States top 5 biodiversity hotspots. Just one county alone has over 1,694 varieties of of plant life, such as the star-shaped carnivorous Butterwort plant. Later on, he heads to the Francis Marion National Forest in North Carolina, another richly biodiverse forest that uses an intentionally 'slow' fire burning process to maintain the health and biodiversity of the forest. Here, McMillan meets with wildlife biologists Larry, Mark, and Mike, to see how that monitor and record the animals they are trying to protect.
