Violence youth have attacked the Drill Ranch which has a very succesfull breeding program for Drills and also keeps a huge number of Chimpanzees :

Very sad. However this example can be used to show that zoos have their purpose. Some people still believe that 'animals are better saved in their country of origin'. Examples like this or extinction of the northern white rhino in the wild show otherwise.
