Yeah you can take the car in, you have to pay for the car but you can take it in and follow the one way system

Thanks for the link. To have a warm car as a base in Whipsnade will be very useful in the Winter. A bargain at £12.

Took the car in on Friday and thank god I did, always a good thing as the weather can get pretty bad at whipsnade. Also have the added bonus of being able to drive through passage through Asia and get close to the deer and camels.
Whipsnade can be quite tiring without a car,lots of walking if you want to see everything.

Of course if you take out a Fellowship, a car into the park is f.o.c., add the cost of entry, an allowed free guest plus free entry to the car park at Regent`s Park and also a guest allowed there and you have got your money back(you also get their magazine and discount in the shops/cafes). Plus you would be supporting the ZSL in these desperate times.

You forgot to mention that you have to qualify to become a fellow but yes it is worth the price

ZSL Fellowship pricing and eligibility
Application for Fellowship is open to those over the age of 18 who can demonstrate:

• An interest, or involvement in the fields of zoology, biology or a related area
• Current studies in conservation, zoology, or a related life science or subject
• Three or more continuous years of commitment to ZSL as a Member
• ZSL volunteering, past and present, or former ZSL Employment

To apply for ZSL Fellowship, you will need to enclose your application (at least 250 words). Student Fellows and those Student wishing to apply for concession Fellowship will also need to provide a copy of their supporting course documentation. You will receive your Fellowship welcome immediately, however your application will be reviewed by ZSL Council for final approval.
