Dublin has a quite a young group of gorillas apart from Lena of course. Mayani being 14 (I think) and the 5 others including Kafi, Kituba and Kambiri and the two new stuggart orphans all being under 7. Any ideas how long they will wait to choose a new silverback and any gueses on who it might be?
Is there any indication of its opening date? I've been hoping to arrange a visit for months!
Turn's out it's opening this Wednesday
Hurray! Something to look forward toThe fake trees sound interesting.
Judging by the video, I preferred the way their original island was without the two fake trees.
I just thought of something; with all of his offspring sired at Chester Zoo now dead from herpes viruses, is anyone at Dublin worried about the three calfs in Dublin contracting EEHV from their father?
