A new species that the zoo has just revealed they now keep is Red Capped Mangabey's. 4.0 were imported from Barcelona several months ago for a mixed exhibit with the Gorillas. Dublin now keep both the Red and White Capped Mangabey species

for an out-of-towner, this means what? Other Nile crocs in Irish/UK/European zoos are of other species?
 
Nile Crocodiles are Crocodylus niloticus. The Desert or West African Crocodile (Crocodylus suchus) was split from the Nile Crocodile a few years ago but at the time of the split there was only one known individual in Europe which derived from the population in question. However, more and more Desert Crocodiles are popping up here and there as collections take a closer look at their "Nile" Crocodiles.
