Dudley zoo asiatic lion

Dudley zoo in the uk has received a male asiatic lion from a dutch zoo . Could any one enlighten me on which zoo, name, age, etc

the only dutch zoo with asiatic lions and they didnt send any males abroad lately. the last switch was when they swapped males with Moscow.

Thanks for the reply, but rather cryptic a reply don't you think. Just jot down you are talking Rotterdam-Blijdorp Zoo and people might have a better understanding of what you were trying to say here.

Suffice to say the rumour that the male Dudley Asiatic lion came from a Dutch zoo is not correct. The zoos that potentially had a surplus of male Asiatics were Helsinki and Planckendael. So, take your pick!
 
sorry for the cryptic reply but i had to hurry as i was on my way to beekse bergen so i didnt reread my post so i didnt realise i forgot to mention i ment rotterdam.
 
The link from the Dudley thread was from a local paper, so was probably lazy journalism on their part for confusing 'Planckendael' as a Dutch zoo.
