A severn year old male burrowing owl has arrived at DZG from London Zoo to pair with their resident female. Welcome twit-twoo Paulinho! - Dudley Zoological Gardens
What happened to the other male?
Don't think it has been mentioned yet but the Prevost's squirrels aren't coming any more and nothing is coming in their place. Also, does anyone know what happened to the agoutis in the lorikeet walk through? No sign of them the other day and didn't find any keeper afterwards to ask.
Well I'm not really surprised about that TBH, if it wasn't for them demolishing the former Red Squirrel cages and then revamping the area for Black lemurs, then this species would've actually been in the zoo by now....Don't think it has been mentioned yet but the Prevost's squirrels aren't coming any more and nothing is coming in their place. To those who have visited in the last few months, did you see the new structure next to the entrance of the lemur walkthrough that I described in my visit report on 4th Nov?
"made of green corrugated metal and about the size of a double garage"
Anyone know what it is or have any ideas of what it might be?
