Another Stichting AAP update; female Mimmi (oldest female at the centre) has been moved in with already established pair Rosi (female) and Hiasl (male), leaving males Tanno and Koko behind.

This seems to be going ahead, with four chimps having arrived in the past four months (Hiasl and Rosi in November 2016, and Bongo and Klaus earlier this month). My prediction is that, if what Nikola has been saying about Koko and two other chimps moving to Skopje from AAP is true, then this mysterious fifth chimp will be moved in with Tanno and Koko and these three will be sent to Skopje.
 
A couple of updates: AAP have informed me that the plan is to put Hiasl and Rosi with Mimmi, Tanno and Koko to create a group of five, and a fifth chimp may be due to arrive from Lisbon.

Is it known to what ssp. they belong (verus, troglodytes or other subspecies)?
 
New female Marria (born approx 2003, western chimp) has arrived at AAP after spending 13 years as a pet in a house in Lisbon. She is currently alone during quarantine but they want to introduce her to Mimmi, Hiasl, Rosi, Tanno and Koko :)
 
Another AAP chimp update; the chimp population there is about to reach 46 with the imminent arrival of male Robby from a German circus.
 
A couple of changes; chimpanzee Bini has moved from Amersfoort to Neuwied in Germany, and gorilla Ayo at Gaia is a boy not a girl!!
 
A really really late thing that I completely missed! In 2015 western female Mahale (born 2004) moved to Amersfoort from Bremerhaven in Germany, so the group at Amersfoort is actually 4.5 at the moment following Bini's move.
 
Couple more chimp updates: male Wakili in the group of 10 at Beekse Bergen has been moved into the bachelor group there, so the bachelors are now 6 and the mixed group is 9, like the other mixed group there.

And female Marlene at Burgers' Zoo passed away :(

Some updates to the AAP offshow chimp groupings; it has come to my attention that they are kept in multiple smaller groups. Those that I know for sure are as follows:

I will try and find out what groups Joost, Ton, Kenny, Femma, Marjo, Sylvia and Karlien are in...I know for sure that there is a fourth male with Fuad's groups, but I don't know who it is out of Ton or Joost. I'm also not entirely sure if Kenny is with Oscar and Noah, or which other females live with Phil and Peggy-Sue. My guess would be that another two females live with these two, and that the remaining two live with whichever male out of Ton and Joost doesn't live with Fuad, Fauzi and Huub.
