eagles and vulture in captivity

Hi all

I would like to know which eagles and vultures are in captivity and am looking for a few percific birds like the lesser fish eagle Sanford's sea eagle pallas fish eagle Madagascan fish eagle All of the hawk eagles Red headed vulture Indian vulture Slender billed vulture and Cape griffon vulture.

You can search by species or by zoo to find out which are held where and even information about current and former holdings of species. It is not always 100% accurate when it comes to smaller collections but it is definitely the best database you'll get for species kept in Europe.

As such, using the site, you can see that Pallas' sea eagle is kept in one German collection (Deutsche Greifenwarte Burg Guttenberg), that Red-headed vulture is kept at both La Ménagerie du Jardin des Plantes in Paris and Parco Natura Viva in Italy and that Cape griffon vulture is kept in two UK collections (Centre for Birds of Prey in Newent and Welsh Hawking in Barry)
