I found new data so here is completed Imperial eagle overview for 2024 year:
Hungary - 440 breeding pairs (census of year 2023) - population growth ca 10% annually
Slovakia - 73 successful pairs and 127 fledged chicks - stagnation
Austria - 51 territorial pairs and 71 fledged chicks - strong increase
Czech republic - 29 teritorial pairs - strong increase
Serbia - 13 pairs and 7 chicks fledged - strong increase
Romania - 9 pairs and 4 chicks fledged - strong increase
= minimum population is 615 pairs
A single eagle keeps its territory since last year in southeast Poland. If it attracts a mate and starts to breed (fingers crossed), it would mean a new country got occupied.
And other goods news is a pair of subadult eagles that built nest ca 25 km north of Prague last month (another extension of the species range). It means we have now breeding imperial eagles as well as breeding saker falcons within 30 km circle of Prague.
