I've had this idea on my mind for a while now, and I wanted to see what people thought of it, so here goes. Also, if you have any concurring ideas or suggestions, please go ahead!
The concept is for an ecosystem survival game, where you start at or near the bottom (let's say, a salamander) and then try to move up through 8 tiers to the top, Tier 9 (a tiger, for instance). There would be multiple different biomes to choose from which would be fairly accurate to the wildlife found there. For instance, the Taiga biome would be split into Canadian and Siberian Taiga maps. Each map has natural disasters, a day night cycle, seasons, weather, and so on.
The goal is to survive for a given amount of time as your chosen species and get food while avoiding predators until you rank up. Think of it like a real-life Isle, or Saurian.
You could play by yourself, with others, or have a Royale online mode where a large amount of players enter at the same time and the last one standing is the victor.
