Visited today and the windows of the house was closed off and The doors to the outside exhibits were closed so not sure what that means for them.
 
Mekong is a youngster (born 31/12/14) - they should still have his parents (Mogli and Sayang) unless things have changed
 
So last time I visited was last summer; I'm aware that Emma the chimpanzee has left for France, but are there any other deaths/transfers that I'm unaware of?

Currently I have the group as follows.

P.t.troglodytes = 1.1 (Qafzeh, Cindy)

P.t.verus = 5.4 (Louis Paul Rene Frek Velu, Pearl Sophie Lianne Heleen)

P.troglodytes = 3.4 (David Kindia Liberius, Lucy Eva Kilimi Edith)

Yes, that's still all correct
 
And is Qafzeh still the boss? When I was there last a regular visitor told me Paul, Kindia and to a lesser extent Liberius were attempting to get the top spot.

I would assume since Emma has long since left, and she was a big part in helping Qafzeh become leader due to their mother/son status, that something has changed?
 
Qafzeh is still alpha. I think Kindia and or Liberius may have a chance of taking over but Qafzeh I think is still quite strong. Emma leaving doesn't seem to have changed anything too much from what I see. Eva is the dominant female and was before Emma left.
 
Since you seem quite clued up, do you roughly know their hierarchy?

I mean I would assume that the male hierarchy is something like this:

Qafzeh
Kindia
Liberius
Paul
Louis
David
Rene
Frek

But I don't know if that's correct or what the female one is like?

Well, I don't think it's set in stone but roughly I'd say,
Qafzeh
Kindia
Liberius
Paul/Rene
Louis /David/Frek
It depends on the situation.
Female wise Eva and Edith are top, and Cindy and Pearl bottom with the other girls lumped in the middle but Sophie is fairly high up. Maybe got more to do with which females have swellings as Cindy, Lucy, Kilimi and Pearl never have swellings, but Kilimi is quite a tough younger female so can stand up for herself whereas Pearl is an easy target being older etc and Lucy not as mobile as the others.
