Greetings to all readers on Zoo Chat. I am brand new at this. Please forgive any blunders.
I live in Adelaide Australia and have written the (auto)biography of the lone Asian elephant who lived in Adelaide Zoo for 38 years. She identified with people, loved her jobs around the place, and told her history from her viewpoint warts and all. She was friendly, very intelligent, trusted but also wily.She had a lot to put up with over the decades including the sometimes cruel public, cranky handymen, unusual keepers, different zoo directors and changing zoo policies.
Her true story is educational, honest, historical and humorous.
