Elephants: asians or Africans

hey lovers of elephants,

I'd just like to know if people favour one or the other if so which one African elephants or Asian elephants and why?

Interesting Thread, one would persume that if you like or interested in the species then you wouldn't care.

I for some reason only like Asian and could only ever sit down and watch them for any length of time.

Not sure why, maybe because I grew up with Chester on my door step, maybe because there more endangered.

Interesting enough I also prefer Indian Rhinos over the other species. :eek:
 
I really like both, I treat them over other animals. But I do favour asians more so, their skin patterns vary a lot more which is interesting. Though I have never seen an African in my life so far.
I'm a huge fan of the great tuskers of Kruger though.
