Elephants of Puerto Rico

In the mid-1960s, Eddie Billetti sold two of his female Asian elephants to Puerto Rico - Ruth and Eva. Can anyone share more information about elephants here? It seems the Mayagüez zoo opened in 1954 - is that where they went or were they sold to a circus or individual?

Ive heard stories growing up in PR that there were 3 Asian elephants at the Mayaguez Zoo before the Arrival of Mundi the African elephant in 1988. But theres zero record of them anywhere and I don’t remember there names.

Thank you. I know there was also the safari park in Vega Alta that had a number of young Asians in the mid 1970s.
