SeaWorld Orlando Empire of the Penguin ride/exhibit has opened

Sea World Orlando has opened their new penguin ride/exhibit. From the photos and video the penguin habitat looks really good. There is a very deep aquarium for the penguins to swim in. The ride component of it looks rather lame, but apparently you can see the penguins without having to get on the ride.

And just over 10 years later the ride is demolished. This summer a "family rollercoaster" will replace it in the same area (an outdoor rollercoaster). Penguins will still remain but will be accessed primarily through the old bypass entrance used to bypass the ride. The ride was always shut down when I was there, so I never had a chance to ride it.
