Endangered birds

Is anyone aware of any conservation programs which have been established to support endangered species of bird? What measures have been put in place in order to maximise their survival and population number?

Looks like an university assignment to be done for someone who registered just for letting us do the work. Your question is too broad as the measure to support birds are extremely diverse and depends on species and country

The actual question is a hypothetical one with no defined geographical area so I am open to all information. The purpose is to research what has been done in such programs.

I wish you good luck with your assignment and I m sure you have the research skills that make the help of zoo nerds unnecessary

there are literally thousands - tens of thousands! - of conservation programmes which have been started around the world for birds, at every level from within a city's limits to on a global scale. Your question is so broad as to be almost meaningless.

Why ask such a vague question instead of simply googling "bird conservation programmes", which will give you specific examples from which to choose? Putting those search words into Google Scholar just now gave me an immediate 104,000 results for scientific papers on the subject.
