I paid for a tour of the Endangered Wolf Center on my 'Snowleopard's 2014 Road Trip' thread and it was a pleasant opportunity to view Mexican Grey Wolves, Red Wolves, African Wild Dogs, Maned Wolves and Swift Foxes in spacious enclosures.

While reading a book called Billy Connolly's Route 66, where the famous Scottish stand-up comedian/actor travels via motorbike across America, I was surprised to learn that Connolly visited the establishment. He actually devotes almost 7 pages to his visit and describes how he helped haul a carcass into one of the exhibits. He particularly liked the African Wild Dogs, calling them "f*#&ing great" due to the fact that they are "hugely social animals".
 
2022 News:

On January 27th, the center announced they have transferred a (0.1) Mexican grey wolf named Maggie to the US Fish & Wildlife Recovery Area in New Mexico

On March 20th, the center announced they have acquired a (1.0) maned wolf named Caido.

On April 30th, the center announced they have opened a new veterinary center called the Richmond Family Veterinary and Nutrition Center.

On June 18th, the center announced that (0.0.5) red wolves were born in 2022. On July 12th, the center announced that (0.0.4) more red wolves were born.

On June 24th, it was announced that the center transferred a (1.0) fennec fox named Fuzz to the Capron Park Zoo in Massachusetts.

On January 5th, 2023, it was announced that (0.3) Mexican grey wolves were transferred to the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum in Arizona.*

On January 11th, it was announced that the center transferred a (0.1) red wolf named Gloria to the Western North Carolina Nature Center in North Carolina.

On March 2nd, the center announced that a (1.0) Mexican grey wolf named Mack passed away on February 13th due to sustaining a major injury to one of his back legs.

On February 12th, 2024, the center announced that they hired a new executive director, Fred Gauna, who previously worked at Busch Gardens Tampa in Florida, the World Bird Sanctuary in Missouri, and the Sophia M. Sacs Butterfly House in Missouri.

On March 17th, the center announced that a (1.0) swift fox named Havoc passed away at age 11 due to a decline in health.

On June 13th, the center announced that 6 Mexican grey wolves were born which at 13 days were transferred to New Mexico to be fostered by wild wolves.

On August 11th, it was announced that the center transferred a (1.0) maned wolf named Chrys to the Sedgwick County Zoo in Kansas.

On September 5th, the center announced that a (0.1) Mexican grey wolf named Turtle was born earlier in 2024.

On November 1st, it was announced that the center transferred a (1.0) red wolf to the Red Wolf Center in North Carolina.
