In this match, we look at two collections which share many similarities - they are both big, hyper-themed, have a *lot* of money behind them, are now the home of some strange-looking primates, and both come from the Francophone side of the zoo world. However, they had very different fortunes within the first round of the Cup - Pairi Daiza had an absolutely abysmal Cup, failing to win a single match, whilst Beauval benefited from a string of near-misses and lucky breaks in order to clinch progression.
The net result - we never got to see these two collections face off against one another.
Until now, when we take a look at ASIA, AFRICA and ISLANDS - three categories to which I think both collections are well-suited - and kick off what I hope to be an interesting discussion!
