European zoos breeding servals

Yes, of course. To my best knowledge at our Wroclaw Zoo (Poland) servals were born in 2007 (twins-one survived) and in 2008 (single male, who will be soon send to Frankfurt a.M. Zoo in Germany). Hope this helps.

Blijdorp in Rotterdam had twins last year. And if i me correct they will bend
send to Paramaribo Zoo in Surinam.

Many serval were born in polish Zoos.
Fanalako says about Wroclaw Zoo, but in recent years, in Krakow Zoo, and probably in Gdansk Zoo, serwals were born too.
In Krakow Zoo, to this date, was born than 50 this cats.

Munkholm Zoo in Denmark also breeds serval regularly
 
Tierpark Berlin, Krefeld Zoo and Tierpark Thüle in Germany are breeding servals.

@Fanaloka. Is that sure, the male serval from Wroclaw will be send to Frankfurt ? Do you know, where they will keep servals ?
 
Dvur Kralove has a very experienced serval breeding pair, both are 12 and their last offspring (0,2) was born in March 09. But it´s not easy to find a suitable new home in other zoos for this well represented species, so both will probably go to Marocco (or Tunisia? I´m not sure now) into an reintroduction program, as some older cubs´ve gone.

Ostrava hasn´t seen any litter for about 3 years, if I remmember correctly. The young unexperienced serval cat in Jihlava had her first litter few months ago, but she hasn´t raised the cub - but it´s just a matter of time, I think.

Have you got more information on this? I thought the distribution of the serval was confined to sub-Saharan Africa. Thanks

I´m sorry I know very little about it. It should be a program, organised by Zoo Hannover, in Tunisia where serval is currently extinct. But Marocco and Algeria are still range countries of this species.
