No tigers. They have melanistic leopard, cheetah, caracal, sand cat, fishing cat, rusty spotted cat and puma. Though for some reason they don't have the puma listed on their website... it is still mentioned in their Carnivore Experience and it is still listed on Zootierliste.
 
I wonder when they will expand the Puma enclosure, it seems to have been stalled for years now. There is always lots of work taking place though, so maybe its been pushed to the side for a while, like the wolverine enclosure.

There's two sides to the Puma exhibit if you're not aware and their housing as well. There hasn't been any plans to expand it from questions I've asked on experiences there and they've pretty much used all the land behind the exhibit now with the revamp of the Cape Porcupine's and the Aviary's and the Otters which are being done at present. The grassland opposite the Leopards which is next to the Puma's is earmarked for something else, but not the Puma's though.
Wolverine exhibit has been finished a while, but no Wolverines as of yet.

I am aware thank you. There was, or still is signage stating that they were allowing the ground to settle after some work before an expansion was built.
The wolverine exhibit is not finished yet, there are no indoor quarters and electric wiring has not been installed.
 
I have never been, but out of interest, do the melanistic leopards belong to any subspecies, an Asian one would be my guess?
 
Thanks for replies. my question came about cause when you typed in zoos in north Devon via Google. The north Devon tourist thing showed a picture of a tiger hence the mis understanding

Visited yesterday for the first time in four years. Birds added in the interim include Victoria Crowned Pigeon, Roulroul, Brown Eared Pheasant, Kalij, Bartlett's Bleeding-heart and Darwin's Rhea. Greater Rhea seemed to have left. Other additions include juvenile Cuvier's Dearf Caiman and Painted Dogs. Signage first rate as always.

Also nice trio of Vulturine Guineafowl, protected from the prevailing wind by glass.

By the sounds of things, the move has only just happened. So I don't imagine they'll be on show yet?
