There are kinder and more helpful ways of pointing out a mistake - especially when people on this forum have worked hard on the guidebook and the zoo themselves are probably not having the best day given the news above. I havn't looked so no idea what you are referring to - but maybe you could just message the zoo and let them know if something needs correcting...

I just thought that a giant snail shouldn't be classified as an arthropod. There is a thread on Zoochat about zoological inaccuracies, where Zoochatters mention mistakes. Surely, someone should have proofread the website before downloading the page title, which could have been titled 'Invertebrates'. The rest of the website looks good and the collection is interesting

The guidebook is not wrong anyway, the invertebrates aren't mentioned
 
Where did Exmoor's fanaloka come from ?

Also, I noticed in the gallery in a picture of their information sign of this species that ZSL and Chester are apparently considering holding this species in the future.

Wouldn't it make greater sense for Jersey zoo to hold the species too ?

This must have been where I heard of him as I have liked pictures of that centre in the gallery and read about it and its closure in old threads.

It is good to hear that he is still keeping these species and focusing on the smaller taxa.

What Malagasy carnivore species in particular is he keeping and is he managing to breed these?

AFIK Fanaloka, Grandidier's Vontsira and quite likely Fossa and Ring-tailed Vontsira. Not sure, about Boky-boky .
