Exotic animals you have touched/handled

I honestly don't know, sorry. The closest collections were Whipsnade and Woburn, so maybe one of those? The lion cub was a female called Nala if that helps narrow things down

I went to a meeting of the National Zoological Society of Great Britain. This was held in Bishops Stortford many years ago. A Whipsnade Zoo keeper, Graham Lucas, brought along a lion cub he was hand-rearing. I wonder if that was the cub you saw.

Thank you for the info! It's possible this wad the lion, Whipsnade was very close to my home town. Was this in the early 90s (1994 ish)?

Oh jeez, I work with about 50 different exotics (and non-exotics) everyday. My favorites have to include: Eclectus parrot, black rhino, African elephant, giraffe, white-cheeked gibbon, raven, tawny frogmouth, American kestrel, red-foot tortoise, Indian star tortoise, three-banded armadillo, and a variety of reptiles and amphibians.

Barcelona Zoo:
- Brazillian tapir (the male goes up to the fence to be pet by everyone)

Aquarium Barcelona:
- Common stingray (back in the day you could touch them)

Aqualeon (no longer a zoo):

Not that many for me, I've touched sharks, rays, all the other touch tank stuff, than Indian Rhinos, a Wombat I might've pet a Wallaby? Not many species but I'd consider them interesting experiences.
