does anyone knows or have a list of exotic cats, held within australia?

I understand we have:
African Lions
Bengal Tigers
Sumatran Tigers
Cheetahs
Cougars
Leopards
Jaguars
Fishing Cats
Servals

Anyone know who holds them and how many or other species...

Also heard Western Plains is handraising two Cheetah cubs,
Due to the loss of thier mother through surgery complications...

Do you mean Snow Leopards?

I think you pretty much got all of them. You only left Snow leopards off your list as Mark said.

There are a couple of cougars at National zoo, Canberra and there are (were?) a pair at Melbourne zoo also.

There's also supposed to be one ocelot left in Australia, up at Darwin, so add that species to the list.

aren't there also one or two ocelots and golden cats left? (and maybe bobcats?)

Taronga's last clouded leopard, a male, died a couple of years back.
(That is one species Australia should have worked really hard at keeping viable!)

Probably not what you were after but Natioanl Zoo has King Cheetahs, and had a Ligon last year when I was there.

:)

The Tigon has since died and as far as I know they only have one King cheetah

What other zoos keep Persian Leopards? I know there is at least one at Melbourne, though the last time I actually saw one I think was last year, I haven't been around the that area since,
