Farms in Penang (Visit Report & Species List)

I recently visited 2 small facilities in Penang, Malaysia.
I am sharing a visit report and species list here,

I have also added the species list to Zootierliste, so I will follow its format for the list.

<Saanen Dairy Goat Farm>

Visit Date: November 10, 2024
Ticket Price: Free entry
Animal Food: RM 10 for 4 cups

The facility is a typical "Petting Farm" in Malaysia. The exhibits are small but clean, and the environment is fairly good compared to other similar facilities.

The facility probably makes most of its income from goat milk and breeding goats. Goat milk was sold in the farm, and staff mentioned that goat babies will be sold here too.

Species:
A typical collection of domestic and pet animals, except for the Malayan Porcupine.

<Audi Dream Farm>

Visit Date: November 16, 2024
Ticket Price: RM 25 (Non-Malaysian Adult) / RM 15 (Malaysian Adult)
Animal Food: 1 Package included in ticket

The facility is a typical "Petting Farm" in Malaysia. The exhibits are small and dirty, with deceased animals left in the cages. The enclosures are outdated, with rabbits, chicken and pigeons in battery cages and large animals in small enclosures.

The facility probably makes most of its income from group activities and pet trade. Animals like rabbits and budgerigars were sold inside the farm.

I re-visited Saanen Dairy Goat Farm in March 2025.

The addition of Lesser Indo-Malayan chevrotain was the biggest surprise.
This species is found in private zoos and farms in Malaysia, but did not expect to see this species in a small "goat farm".

It is a small farm with a cafe, but also has a small zoo inside.
I am sharing a visit report and species list here,

<The Farm Pantai Acheh>

There is very little information online regarding the zoo inside, since the plaxe mainly focuses on the cafe and fruits farm.

Overall, the exhibits lack in space except for the goats, peafowls, ducks etc that at free roaming around the place. Quite a surprise to see a cassowary here, but I personally don't recommend visiting these places unless you live nearby.
