Favorite Bird order?

Charadriiformes!! I find them very interesting, they're super diverse and I've had a lot of fun observing them in the wild.

I do also quite like Sphenisciformes (come on, how could I not like penguins?) , Anseriformes (lots of fun to watch), Coraciiformes (love kingfishers!), Psittaciformes (who doesn't like parrots?), Procellariiformes (no particular reason they're just cool) and Passeriformes (super diverse, many cool species).

Difficult to choose. Possibly Coraciiformes: not excessively speciose, most members are very colorful, and they have an incredible diversity of shapes, from hoopoes to hornbills. Or maybe Galliformes, the order that have some of the most suntuous male displaying birds in the world, and many species that are "cool" in appareance but rarely or never displayed in captivity (several genus of tropical partridges for example).
 
My favorite bird order are the Psittaciformes. I am fond of parrots because of their diversity of shapes, sizes, colors and behaviors, their intelligence and how they can use their big, strong beaks both with great precision and with great destructive power.

Honorable mentions for me go to the Charadriiformes, Galliformes, Anseriformes, Suliformes, Pelecaniformes, Ciconiiformes, Sphenisciformes and Accipitriformes. But I am a general bird person and there are species I am fond of in pretty much every bird order.
 
Accipitriformes! Suprised they havn't been anyones favourite so far.I have been fascinated with them since i was a kid,and whenever i see them even if it's a common buzzard,I get this kick inside off me and i zone off from reality a bit.
 
Definitely Columbidae. Their intelligence is impressive, they come in a dazzling array of colors, and there are hundreds of species, each more unique and impressive than the last. It’s such a shame this order of birds is so underrated and overlooked compared to the more popular bird groups, and I personally think they should be recognized more, whether that be by the increased awareness of the general public about the lesser-known and endangered species, or the increased representation of them in more zoological collections.

Honorable mentions for me include the Galliformes, Coraciiformes, Piciformes, and the Pelecaniformes. Even though I have favorites, I love and appreciate all bird species.

I feel like I am in the same boat as @Carlos M with regards to choosing a single order. It would be unfair to say, for example, I love Columbiformes while not knowing much about green pigeons/Trerons. However, I know for a fact that I love Gruiformes.
 
In second place, Grebes; such a variety of patterns and what displays, and from a British perspective the variation between widespread, and those that require a visit to a specific location. I have seen 15 of the species in the wild; I suppose the Titicaca Grebe is the most desirable of those I am missing.
Top of the list, Falcons: such special predators from the power of Gyrfalcons, the speed of Peregrines, manoeuvrability of Hobbies, hovering of Kestrels, and that’s before considering Falconets and Caracaras. 41 species seen in the wild, and I’d like to add more falconets, as well as Sooty Falcon and Johnny Rook.
 
For me it's a tie between Psittaciformes and Sphenisciformes, with Accipitriformes in a close third.

I've always loved parrots because colorful and diverse they are; I'm especially fond of macaws, cockatoos, and lorikeets.
I also love penguins for similar reasons, but I think it also helps that I've memorized the entire order through song.
