Mine was Ranchipur (1966-2016) at San Diego Zoo, for his amazing tusks.
Same. When he was around, it was like Elephant Odyssey had a real Columbian Mammoth on display.

I think Hank at the Columbus Zoo is my overall favorite. I think it’s easy to forget how big elephants really are when most zoos have you see them from far away or up high. When I went to Columbus, I saw Hank at ground level and I suddenly felt smaller. He’s huge!

My favourite elephant bull is Aung Bo at Chester Zoo.

After a fantastic two days at a zoo that I had been longing to visit my entire childhood, I reluctantly began making my way towards the exit, when suddenly I heard what remains the most terrifying noise that I ever heard. High-pitched, deafening and unexplainable, it went on for ages. I had no clue what it was, but it wasn't long until I found out. We arrived at the elephant enclosure, and saw Aung Bo, the zoo's bull, rampaging around his enclosure, roaring at the top of his voice. A keeper told us that he is often like this when forcefully separated from the females which (uniquely among UK zoos) he spends the majority of his time with. But whatever the reason, watching him call without end was one of the most memorable zoo experiences that I have ever had and a fitting send-off to one of the most memorable zoo visits that I have ever had. We didn't take our eyes of him until closure forced us to, and even after that, waiting in the car park for our return to the Town Centre, his roaring could still be heard.

He is also a very big bull, although quite young (21 years), and has sired multiple calves.

I would have to say Vance at Ringling's CEC.

In my opinion, he has sired some of the best-looking bulls in North America. Those bulls are; Hank at Colombus Zoo, Luke and Smokey at Two Tails Ranch, Big Boy at Ostok Animal Sanctuary in Mexico, Bo at Elephant Aid International, and Tommy at The Endangered ark foundation. He also sired some good females as well. He is past the age of his breeding years at 59 years old. I think he will retire to White Oak Conservation within the next few years.

Although he’s sadly now deceased; Bong Su at Melbourne was a very impressive bull. I believe he was the largest Asian Elephant in the Southern Hemisphere too, standing over 11 feet tall.

I never knew he passed! The Absolut Elephant database, facts and encyclopedia () - Elephant Encyclopedia and Database still lists him as alive. How long ago did he die and did Ringling come out with a cause of death?

Edit: He still is alive, I was confused with another elephant.

Indy, an Indian bull formerly at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo in Syracuse, NY from 1985 to 2012. Now at the Dickerson Park Zoo in Springfield, MO.

For me, my favorite Asian was Ranchipur. I saw him back in 2009 when Elephant Odyssey was first opened. That man still has one of the most impressive tusks I've ever seen. He was a truly magical animal.

C'sar and Artie are my favorite African bulls. They both are absolutely huge. You can never tell how large they are until they are standing next to the cows.

Special mention goes to Lucas. He was the first elephant calf I had ever seen, may he rest in peace.

Emmet from Whipsnade! Currently resides at Blackpool as part of a breeding program with the cows formerly from Twycross Zoo. Hopefully we see some offspring in the coming years :)

My Favourite was the late bull Radza of the Emmen zoo what a wonderful impressive bull, I believe he stood 10,7 inches and reported 7 tons with a pair of huge tusks, He did sire many young!

Spike @ National Zoo - Very beautiful and impressive.
Hank @ Columbus Zoo - MASSIVE
Kedar @ Indianapolis Zoo - Youngest of Bulwagi’s offspring and at my home zoo
