It would be really interesting if Chester got a pair of clouded leopards.I think they would end up in Islands.

Would Bornean bay cats make a good exhibit?

I suggest you look at what Chester works with in the wild,as if they aren't working with a species in the wild,or with an in situ conservation program the chances,of a species arriving are slim to none!

Favourites: blue-crowned hanging parrot, Boelen's python, bushdog, butterfly barb, golden mantella, Indian rhino, painted batagur, ploughshare tortoise, Sumatran orang, tuatara.

I have tried to choose species of all types of vertebrate and my wishlist only includes species that have not been kept at Chester (as far as I am aware).

I thought the Chinese Water Dragon would be at the top of your list Water Dragon?

My list was in no particular order but they aren't my absolute favourite species to see at Chester, since I see them almost every day.

Like what? As soon as you mentioned small cats I thought oncilla, rusty-spotted cat and black-footed cat....
I started off thinking Eurasian Lynx and Fishing cat. and that lead to increasingly unlikely thoughts of Oncillas and black-footed cats, and iberian lynx and marbled cats, flat-headed cats and bay cats....
In all seriousness, it is disappointing that a zoo as large as Chester has no proper small cats on display. (I say proper because cheetahs don't count.)

It's a shame they don't have the serval anymore.
