Feral Lion spotted in Darwin

Probably a bullmastiff or some cross. They are similar size & colour to a tawny lion, especially if the witnesses didn't see the animals face.

I'm sure there'd be plenty of escaped pig dogs of indiscriminent breeding roaming the land in NT.
 
I read recently that feral dogs have a bounty of $50.00 each.

I was surprised the price so high l think it would reflect the difficulty in finding them.

Or the dollar value of the damage that they cause.

Granted though, $50 per dog is the highest price that I have heard lately.

What is the going rate for cats?
 
Victoria now has dogs at $50

$10 bounty reward for each fox killed and $50 for each wild dog killed, subject to the Victorian Fox and Wild Dog Bounty Terms and Conditions.

Most of Qld dogs are $100 and I have heard some areas are paying up to $400 for wild dogs.

The last cat I tapped cost me $500 in vet fees. Unfortunatly it was my daughters:rolleyes:
