First Visit Of 2021?

Will be visiting the following in the next few weeks -

Birdland park & garden, Cotswold Birds of prey, Honeybourne Zoo, Martin Mere WWT Chester Zoo, Birdworld, Cotswold wildlife park, Longleat & Slimbridge WTT

Bird collections done and booked others also booked again no local collections this year.

I’ll be visiting the Northumberland country zoo on Sunday as I’m only about 50 mins away, I’ve never been and I believe it’s mostly outdoors. Obviously a very small zoo but I’ve been following them quite closely over the last few months and it will be good to go in person. :)

Some pictures of the new developments would be great please!

Plenty of Chester availability now folks, with further release of member slots as well as the website being open to the general public to buy tickets. Excuse the duplication with the Chester thread, its just in case someone may be waiting and miss the other thread.

Everywhere i've looked within an hour and a half drive away looks fully booked again (at least until the afternoon) so no day out for me, but a good weekend for the ticket offices :)

My previous post was mistaken, I’m going next Sunday due to the zoo being fully booked.

Planning a zoo heavy week from 25th April, starting with Jimmy's Farm and likely ending at Whipsnade, with at least Watatunga and Hamerton in between.

Have you had a better week, than you thought, despite your local schools reopened on 12th?
It has been very busy. Because of our position we attract people from several counties. Beds, Cambs, Lincs, Northants were back last week but a training day was tacked on the end of the hols for opening day on Monday 12th. Leics, Norfolk and Yorks, not so sure about. But within that there must have been rather more variation than the Education Authorities web-sites suggested.
We set our capping at the levels proven last year, as all the measures are still in place, and we have upgraded some of the facilities - quadrupling toilet provision etc. School age children did reduce during the week, but this weekend has been sold out (as LRP) mentioned.
For the first time we had to have attendants on the car-park, checking pre-bookings at the car window and turning away un-booked 'casuals'. Lots of them today,too...

Sounds good. Pleased for you. Dry sunny weather forecast so hope it continues.
