I will be visiting the Henry Doorly Zoo next Tuesday and Wednesday for the first time. Any suggestions or advice about the zoo that would be helpful for me to know as a first time visitor ?

Do the indoor parts early, they get very crowded. Also, walk down behind the Butterfly building to see the little blue penguins, they are rather hidden in a glass-fronted exhibit. Also, don't miss the massive herd of guars that can be seen from the cages on top of the hill on the north side of the zoo.
Thank you ! I think that is the best idea - doing the inside exhibits early. Thanks for your suggestions.

I don't think I've ever seen or heard of that show. Is it still on or was it some sort of special program? Make sure you give a full report of the zoo! hahaha.

The show Ultimate Zoos aired back in 2005 or 2006 I think. It featured innovative exhibits in zoos around the world. I wish they would bring it back or air the shows again.
