What sort of rescue centre has Snow Leopards? Where were they rescued from?

They came from this rescue centre. They take in wild animals from zoos and various other places across Europe (sometimes further afield). Including Big cats, Bears, Primates, Rodents and various other species. Some are unwanted or abandoned exotic pets. Some animals come from zoos that close down or need to relocate animals urgently. In the case of the Snow Leopards (mentioned above) they were two of a litter of three cubs born at Magderberg. They (and the male cub, who's being rehomed at Tallinn Zoo) have been housed at Naturhulpcentrum until a permanent home could be found for them. It's the same for the majority of animals that they receive (they just stay temporarily)

The zoo has worked a lot with that particular rescue centre. Their five brown bears, 4 lions and 1 badger have all come from there before these leopards.

Five Sisters Zoo teases a new arrival on their social media pages. They’ve uploaded a picture of the new inhabitant’s footprint and their new enclosure, with the additional information that when it arrives it will be “the only one of its kind in Scotland”

I’m not a footprint ID expert, but does anyone have any ideas? There’s some pretty ridiculous suggestions in the comments

My first thought was a mountain lion or clouded leopard, but now that you say it design-wise it does look more suited for a CL. I don't think they would make such as big a social media deal about any kind of smaller cat or things like tayra.

I see no nails, so a cat seems more likely and the design looks like a typical (but somewhat small) Clouded leopard enclosure.

For what it is worth, the exhibit itself appears to be unmodified from when it previously held Scottish Wildcat.

I believe so. They've really improved their small mammal and bird collection. New additions since I was last there are Black hornbill, Prevost's squirrel, orange-headed thrush, polecat/ferret hybrids, red-cheeked cordon-bleu, emerald dove, bullfinch, Dunlin, ringed plover, moustached laughingthrush, Egyptian plover and song thrush. Some management must have arrived that likes birds

I think it could be Margay from Edinburgh zoo.

All wrong the new one arrives at roughly 2 am tomoro Friday would love to say but sworren to not say can give a clue tho is in Madagascar and the cartoon
